Decided to focus on speed today. My first mile I tied my personal best at 7:32 and I was pleased with my overall 5k pace. Just need to shave down the pace some.

We should do some speed work together. I could use some speed work but have a hard time pushin alone. You are doing great!

What do you do to work on speed? I could use any help I can get.

I just wonder if maybe my form breaks down after a while and that may be causing greater fatigue...

I try to do interval running for my speed because I don't have quite the endurance thr you and Sheridan have. I jus saw a good speed workout that I want to try this next week: 2 minute easy warm up then 3 sets of 10x 30 second sprints followed by 30 second slow jog sounds super hard, but would be an awesome workout.

Wow that sounds pretty intense. I wonder how often to do that? Couple of times a week maybe? I either need to lose 10 lbs or do intervals... or both
